Answers to some of your questions about Orlando Taxi4Hire

1. How far in advance should I book my taxi ride?

We work by prearrangement only. Please, try to call at least 4 hours before you are ready to leave. This will allow for your cab to arrive on time which will allow you to get to your appointment on time.

2. Is there any other fees besides the flat rate?

Our flat rate fees include everything except driver gratuity (normally 10-20% of the fare).

3. Are your drivers safe?

Yes, we have a great safety record. We are a small company and we make sure that our drivers have safe driving records before we hire them. We personally know every driver working with our company, including those drivers who only work for us when we are short.

4. Should I tip my driver?

For a taxi driver tips are a significant part of his take-home income, just like tips are for waiters/waitresses at the restaurant. Calculate your tip the same way you would at a restaurant.

5. Is your company insured?

Yes, one of the conditions for a driver to join our company is that his car is properly insured and inspected.

6. Do you take credit/debit cards?

Yes, we take all major credit/debit cards and cash.

7. What are your operating hours?

We are there for you 24/7/365 including all holidays, by prearrangement.

8. How do I meet your driver at the airport if there are other taxis?

Our driver will be meeting you at the baggage claim area of the airport with the sign with your name on it. We also ask for a contact phone # so that our driver can call/text you to make sure you find him.

9. How do I pay for a round-trip booking?

We charge a full round-trip fee up-front (payed to the driver or via PayPal). One reason is that a round-trip fee is lower than two individual one-way fees. Another reason is that we want to reduce the chances of a “no-show” for our drivers who spend time and gas to get to the pick-up location.

10. Can I prepay for my ride?

Yes, if you wish to prepay we email you an invoice from our PayPal account and you can safely pay through PayPal’s website. This is a safer and more convenient alternative to paying directly with the driver. It also saves time for both the customer and the driver at the end of the trip that it takes to process the payment.

11. Do you have any vehicles with lifts for wheelchairs?

Unfortunately at this time we do not have any vehicles with lifts to accommodate a person in a wheelchair.

12. Do you provide car or booster seats for small children?

Yes, we provide both car and booster seats at request at no extra charge.

13. Do I have to pay a full round-trip fare at the end of the first trip if I booked a round-trip?

Yes, we require a full round-trip fare be paid at the end of your first trip. Otherwise (a higher) one way rate will be applied each way.
